Overview: The film tells the story of the martyrdom of the adherents of the secret anti-Nazi organization " The White Rose ", shows the action carried out by the Scholl brothers in Munich while secretly printing the leaflets and distributing them to the University; however, they are discovered by the rector who denounces them to the Gestapo and let themselves be arrested without any resistance. The original footage, which shows the actions of the students against Nazism, alternates scenes in which a group of young people today discuss the images seen, but not limited to this: they reconstruct the facts, research and interview the witnesses of the time, in particular a doctor from Bologna, who was involved in the Scholl case and had to flee to Italy, where he joined a partisan organization towards the end of the war.
