Happy Traveller - Season 10 Episode 27 Sicily (Part 3)
Overview: Our travelers, in this episode, start from Selinounda to see the ruins of another historic city of Great Greece, but also one of the best preserved ancient Greek temples. They continue to exit to the north of the island, passing through Segesta, where there is an archaeological park with the Acropolis, the Ancient Theater and one of the most beautiful Doric temples in the world. The next stop is in the city of Trapani with the salt pans, which are still in operation today with a large production of salt and the Salt Museum. From there they take the cable car to go up to the town of Erice which is built on top of the mountain of the same name. Next is Palermo, the largest city in Sicily with its picturesque historic center, exquisite architecture, temples-works of art and bustling markets with local products. Finally, they climb the famous Pellegrino mountain with the church of Agia Rosalia while also making a stop at the picturesque seaside town of Cefalu.
