Overview: Our travelers drive parallel to the shores of the Ionian Sea opposite Corfu and visit historical sites and places of particular natural beauty as well as villages with a strong Greek element. They descend from the Logaras pass and the Akrokeraunia Mountains and go to the village of Palasa and the village of Drymades. Next is Heimarra with its beautiful beaches and the imposing castle where the old village is located perched on the rock. They also see the historic Greek school "Homeros" and meet many Greek expatriates who live there. The next stop on their journey is Kiparos where, in addition to walking, talking with locals and eating in the center of the village, they climb up to the old settlement which is perhaps the most beautiful and picturesque settlement of the entire area. They then pass through Bors or Borsi, where they see the impressive castle on top of the hill, make a stop at Pikerni or Pikerasi and finally reach Lukovo.
